The matter of discontinuing the work in progress was discussed at length, amf ultimately the following motion was carried: “That the matter of discontinuing work in the Goige be deferred until a reply had been received from the Minister of Public Works alter be had consulted his engineers, and that another conference of contributing local bodies be convened by the Board of Control to discuss this.”
