DAMAGES FOR NEGLIGENCE

(Per Press Association.) Hamilton, August 21. In the Supreme Court, Alfred Jones claimed £2OOO from John Russell and liis yonug son Michael for injuries, received as the result ol a motor accident. Evidence was given that plaintiff was being driven in a motor ear belonging to his father, crashed into the first car. Plaintiff suffered the total loss of his right hand and partial loss of the use of his right arm. The jury returned a verdict that ,thc boy was guilty of negligence and was acting in tlie capacity of servant or agent to the father, whilst the father was guilty of negligence in allowing his son to use the car and thus cause the injury. Plaintiff was awarded £B6l general' damages and £IOO special damges.
