New Orleans. Five negroes pleaded guilty to playing dice in the public streets when brought before Judge Stewart in the Beaufort County Court, North Carolina. The Judge, to mako the punishment fit'the crime, ordered the prisoners to play dice to determine their respective sentences. Ihe luckiest of the quintet threw three months' imprisonment, tha unluckiest 12 months.
