CROQUET
CLOSE OF ST. JOHN'S SEASON. A very successful sea'son of the St. John's Croquet Club was officially closed by Mrs W. H: McLean (President) on Saturday afternoon, after some excellent competitions had been cr o t off. The play resulted in the following getting the prizes : 10-minute bretk, Mrs Niccols; consolation, Mrs Harold Pearse. Gold croquet, Mrs Olapham; consolation, Mrs A. H. Sutton Bogey croquet, Mrs W. H. McLean; consolation, Mrs F. Moore. The prizes for the season's competitions were also'presented to tlle """ lowing winners:' Doubles, Mesdames Turner and Garlick. Bogey croquet, Mrs -Niccolfi. The 20-minute break, Mrs Bridge.
