WEDDING

SVENDSEN—HARVEY. . On April 26th, at the residence of Mr and Mrs J. Harvey, 15, Ingestre Street, Wanganui, a very pretty wedding was celebrated by the Rev Mr Harries. Mr L. Svendscn, third son of Mr T. Svendsen, of Feilding, was united in holy matrimony to Miss E. M Harvev, third daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Harvev. The bride looked charming in a frock of crepe de fashion and the orthodox veil. She carried a beautiful bouquet of seasonable flowers, similar bouquets being carried by the two bridesmaids. Misses E. and"D. Harvey, sister of the bride, who wore dresses of pink and cream crepe do chine respectively, each waring picture hats. Master A. Gompton. acted as pageJboy, being dressed in cream gabardine. Tho bride was given away by her brother-in-law. Mill. Gempton, of Napier, and the duties of best man were carried out by Mr J. Harvev, brother of the bride. Mr G. May,'of Castlecliff, acted as groomsman. Tho "Wedding March das beautifully plaved by Miss Marshall, of East Town, Wanganui. After the ceremony the guests were entertained by the parents of tho briflo at their residence, where the usual toasts were duly honoured, and the many and valuablo presents were admired. Later in the dav the contracting parties left for the North on their honoymoon, the. travelling dress of the bride being of dove grey, cemongly trimmed with fancy, stitching, with hat of jade and fawn.
