With a view to encouraging the flax industry, the Federal Government is guaranteeing growers £6 per ton for the 1921 crop. Hides are irregular, with a decline of 2d per lb all round. Barley, English, 7s to 7s 3d; Cape, os 9d to 6s 6d. Oats, Algerian, 3s to 3s 3d. Potatoes, £5 6s to £8. Onions £10.
