» THE MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Oroua' County Council was held in its Feilding Chambers yesterday afternoon. I Present: Crs. Pearce (in the vhair), Morrison, McLennan, McElroy, Greenhow, and Vincent. THE RATE ROLL. The following alterations were made in the rate roll: J. Woods to R. H. Henderson, J. S eerie to S. H. That the Engineer be instructed to shorten the bridge complained of by Jeffries Bros, on Furlong's Road and to redeck the main span.—Pearce - —Vincent. That Mir Charles Campbell be appointed ranger for the Otangaki and Hiwimti Ridings under the usual conditions, ailso that the ranger commence his duties forthwith.
