» THE MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Oroua' County Council was held in its Feilding Chambers yesterday afternoon. I Present: Crs. Pearce (in the vhair), Morrison, McLennan, McElroy, Greenhow, and Vincent. THE RATE ROLL. The following alterations were made in the rate roll: J. Woods to R. H. Henderson, J. S eerie to S. H. Clifton, W. Boulton to E. W. Lukeis, J. L. Fergnsson to A. L. Williams, R. Vautier to M. S. Smith, Helen Hogg to L. G. Hogg, J. C. Parker ftp H. G. Stringer, F. J. Shirley to W. R. O. Wells, A. R. Humphrey to 0. S.Tyerman, E. P. Mason to J. H. Mas6n,, W. Field to J. J. S. Thomasen, J. B. Bassett to N. C. B. Jensen, J. B. Bassett to K. O. Olsen, John Currie to A. and C. Wycherley. BUSINESS DONE. ■ That Ithe application of the Wellington Meat Co. and of the Feilding Farmers Freezing Co. for a renewal of their meat export and slaughter- licenses be granted.—Pearce—Vincent. That the Engineer be instructed to shorten the bridge complained of by Jeffries Bros, on Furlong's Road and to redeck the main span.—Pearce - —Vincent. That Mir Charles Campbell be appointed ranger for the Otangaki and Hiwimti Ridings under the usual conditions, ailso that the ranger commence his duties forthwith.
