EMPEROR KARL.
GETS HIS FOURTH SON. Geneva, March 11. The Empress of Austria gave birth to a sou yesterday at the royal villa at .Baden, on the outskirts of Vienna. The Emperor was not at Baden at the time, the gravity of the political and military situation having compelled him to remain in Vienna. The Empress Zita, who is 26 years of age, is one of the 20 children of the late Duke Robert of Parma, and this is her fifth child. Tho others are: The Archduke Francis Joseph (born in November, 1912), the Archduchess Adelaide (January.' l!)U;, the Archduke Robert (February, IV'lo), and the Archduke Felix (born in May, 1U1G). She was married to the Archduke Karl in October, l<lll, when there was apparently little chance of his succeeding to the Austrian throne.
