MR MASSEY ON THE CONFER-
ENCE.
London, January 18
My Massey states that any permanent consultative body arising out of the Imperial Conference will be distinct from the High Commissioners, because the Dominion Parliaments would desire direct responsibility. Mr Massey has consented to the postponement of the Conference to the middle of March, at the request of Canada and South Africa.
