VILLA'S TROOPS DEFEATED.

AN ATTACK ON CHIHUAHUA.

Mexico City, September 17. General Trevino has reported that a thousand of Villa's troops attacked Chihuahua at 2 o'clock this morning, entering the city.

Two hours; later Trevino's troops defeated the Villistas, killing 650. Trevino was wounded in the shoulder, but nevertheless reviewed his troops on parade to-day. London, September 17. El Paso reports that Villa attacked tbe town of Chihuahua with a force of 600, and was heavily defeated. All the captured Villaites were executed.
