LATEST HEALTH REPORT

Speaking to a Post reporter yesterday morning, Surgeon-General Henderson, Director-General of Medical Services, stated that no further developments had occurred at Trentham. The diphtheria case had now been removed from the serious list, while the pneumonia case remained about the same. Of four cases of cerebio-spinal meningitis, threo were progressing favourably, but ono was critical. The process of cleaning up and disinfecting tho camp was still vigorously in progress. One case of cerebro-spinal meningitis had developed at Featherston. the patient being a member of the 18th Reinforcements. The case at present was not a severe one. The 19th Infantry at Tauherenikau were reported to be all right.
