11l the House of Commons to-day Mr Cowan, Liberal, asked whether, in view of the accelerated wastage ed men involved by the prolonged offensive on the western front, tho Commonwealth of Australia would have any lifficulty in keeping up its force* to strength. Mr Lloyd George, Secretary for AVar, replied: The Commonwealth Government knows that we attach great iiroortance to the Australian forces bcinrr kept mi to full strength, and I am confident that it will take all steps to do so.
