CHORAL FESTIVAL.

Patrons of the Choral Festival, to bo held next. Wednesday night, are promised a musical programme of a high order. Throe' of "Wellington s leading artists are assisting iii tho programme —Mr Hamilton Hodges (bass), Mrs J. F. Woodward (soprano) and Miss Frieda Walter (violinist).' The members of the chorus and orchestra are all working hard to ensure their portions of the programme being successful. The sale of tickets is proceeding in a very satisfactory manner, and, as the proceeds of the festival are being devoted to a very deserving branch of tho Red Cross work, namely, the Ambulance Fund, the support of the public is asked with confidence.
