There has been fair business doing iv (lie potato market in Wellington. Oats havo shown a weakening tendency, and very little business is doing. A.s anticipated in. the last report, the supplies of pollard from Australia at lower prices have had the effect of reducing quotations for tho local article. Bran has also fallen m price. The demand for prime "dressed pork continues good. Honey is scarce, and readily bought up. Eggs ar„ still in very short supply, and last weeks advance has been maintained. Linseed oil cake meal is being largely availed of for stock feeding.

Cabbage and cauliflower are still realising high prices, and the demand is good. Carrots and white turnips Are now coming in freely, and prices havo declined. Parsnips are in short supply, and realising good figures. Pumpkins and marrows are plentiful, and fair prices aro Swedes aro hard to quit.

On account of bad weather and tielay in shipping, supplies of fruit arc short. Choice dessert apples and pears are in keen demand, and bring excellent prices.
