AVoddel and Co. send us their I dairy produce weekly market report dated Dondon April 23, a_ follows: — gutter.—-The market continues fpuet, but there is a firm undertone, and values are more or less unchanged from last week. New Zealand.—The Corinthic has now docked, but no butters will bo available out of his steamer until next week. Tho Athenic, "Wainiana, and Orari arc discharging, but deliveries continue very slow. Choicest salted creameries arc selling fairly well at from 132s to 1345, with unsalted at 138s up to 140s per cwt. Danish.—The official quotation is unchanged, and remains at 121 kr. Spot values range from l-12s to 1445. I Siberian.—The demand is dull. The proportion of really finest dairies is I small-, and tbo quality of the bulk of j recent arrivals is only fair. Quito I small arrivals can be expected from ' now until June on account of the had ; condition of the roads in Siberia, and ! also this year there is the further diffi- j culry of transport both by rail and steamer owing to war exigencies. ! Prices for finest range from 124s to 1.265, with medium at 122s to 123s per j cwt. Argentine.—Arrivals this week conI sist of the Highland Pride, with 5524 ■ I boxes. The market is quiet, and choicest salted has been aold at from 126s up to 13(H with unsalted at 128s to 132s per cwt. ; Cheese. —Tho market continues firm but quiet, and the principal demand is still for. account of Government orders. For what little Canadian cheese is still available, prices arc firm at 9s to 98s for white and coloured. Finest New Zealand white ' aro steady at 93s to 945, with colour- i ed at about 935. Australian cheese are a slow sale, and prices range from SSs- to 90s for white and coloured, according to quality and size. i
