WEDDING.

FIRTH—WRATT

A pretty wedding ivas solemnised in the Baptist Church, Feilding, on Tuesday, betAveen Miss Emma Evelyn Wratt, fourth daughter of Mr J. Wratt, Taonui, and Mr George Crossley Firth, eldest son of Mr George Firth, of Wanganui. Pastor Nicholl s performed the religious ceremony. The church Avas nicely decorated by members of the church, and Miss Eva Wratt presided at the organ. As the bride entered the church "The Voice that Breathed O'er Eden" Avas sung. The bride, avlio ivas given airay by her father, Avas neatly attiired in a silk crepoliue dress, and avo re the usual veil and orange blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet. Miss Firth, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Ella Wratt, sister of the bride, the bridesmaids, ivore frocks Of cream corded velvet, with red velvet hats, and carried bouquets. There Avero also two little flower girls, Misses Jean Burnham and E'lleen Watson, nieces of the bride. Mr Harold Bowater, of Taonui, acted as best man, and Mr Malcolm Firth, brother of the j bridegroom, as groomsman. The little flower girls Avore dresses of pink voile, and carried floral crooks. Tho bridegroom's gifts to the bridesmaids Avere a gold brooch set Avith pearls to Miss Firth and gold pendant and chain to Miss Ella Wratt. The little flower girls Avore brooches, also the gifts of the bridegroom. The ceremony over, a reception ivas held at Whitehead's tea rooms, Avhere the many beautiful presents Avere on vieAv. Many telegrams of good Avishes and congratulations Avere received during the reception. The happy couple Avere also the recipients of many beautiful presents (including several cheques), one from the Bunnythorpe Christian Endeavour Society, of Avhich the bride was a member. The bride travelled in a navy blue tailor made costume, with black velvet hat. The happy couple left by train for AVellin'gton, \vhere the honeymoon is being spent.
