SERVIANS AND MONTENEGRINS ADVANCING. The High Commissioner reports, under date London, September 21, 12.3.3 a.m.: — Reliable—The Servians defeated 20,000 Austrians near Novibazar (in Bosnia. The Montenegrins are advancing towards Sarajevo, and have occupied I'rohetka, whence the Austrians retired. A German army surgeon states that arrows have been used effectively by Allied airmen. Two airmen flew over a German regiment ou the frontier at a height of 5000 feet and dropped arrows on the soldiers in camp. It is estimated that the two airmen shot 50 arrows, killing and injuring thirteen soldiers. The arrows arc made of steel. From Stockholm it s reported that a number of Russian warships have arrived at Helsingfors in a damaged condition. Terrific, cannonading was" heard in the neighbourhood of the Aland Islands a day or two previously. It is believed that Russian cruisers were engaged with the German fleet near Bprnholm. j
