Melbourne, Sept. 22. The Food Supplies' Commission recommended legislation providing for the suspension of the enemies' patents.
The Minister of Agriculture conferred with shipping representatives in explanatdo'n of the increased freight charges, altered routes, and the control the Admiralty exercise over vessels. Cabinet considered the matter and deckled to postpone action, waiting further information from New Zealand.
The Australian Navy Office has received messages of sympathy from all quarters concerning the loss of the submarine.
