BREACH OF PROHIBITION ORDER.

Edward Martin was before the S.M. Court this morning charged with being on licensed premises—the stables of a hotel —during the currency of a prohibition order on two occasions. Martin stated on oath he had gone to the stables to inquire about a missing parcel. In answer to Sergeant Bowden, Martin admitted ho had got drunk at the stables. The Magistrate said he was satisfied, and inflicted a nne of 20s and 7s costs in the first ease, and 10s and 7s costs in the second.
