A Hobart cable message to Mr J. Hatch, the owner, states that the schooner Clyde was wrecked at the Macquaries. All hands wero saved, and returned to Hobart by tho Antarctic tender vessel Toroa, which also brouo-fit up casks of oil. Tho Clyde was purchased in Wellington last August, and was on her lirst trip to the Macquaries. She was uninsurable, being without power, and coming immediately alter the loss of the Jessio Nichol is very unfortunate. Captain W. Smith "was in command. An enquiry has opened at Hobart.
