/Vollinglon, December 21. lho High Commissioner cables the lo'lowing awards gained by this Dominion s exhibits at the exhibition recently hold at Roubaix, in the Aoi-th of I< ranee, tin's year, viz.: — Grand Prize. —Government of New /ioalaud, one each for collective exhibit of wool, frozen meat, grain and seeds, hemp, and kauri gum. Diplomas of Honour.—Gear Meat Preserving Co. and Wellington Meat Export Co., slipe wool: W. Nichols and Sons, collective exhibit of wool. Gold Medals.—Government of New Zealand, preserved fruits and leather -Gear Meat Co., canned meats: Maddern Pros., rope and twine; Abraham and Williams, J. J. Bourke George Gerrard, H. Hadfield, J. 11l Kirk and Co., Edward J. Lees, R.J. Levin, James Little, ft. Douglas McLean, A. C. Mcftae, P. Mimgavin, and Ernest Short (Feilding). fleece wool.
