THE GIESEN ESTATE.

A meeting of tbo creditors in the bankrupt estate of AY. li. Giesen was held iv the Feilding Courthouse yesterday afternoon. Mr G. J. Scott, D.0.A., presided, and explained what ho had dono in regard to tho assets. At the present'time, the amount to tihe credit of tho estate was £400, out of tho assets handed to him for collection valued at about £3000. Mr Scott detailed tho aesets, and explain-' od how, in nearly every case, there was no equity in favour of the creditors. Tho creditors recognised that the best thing possible had been done by the D.O.A. in tho interests of the estate. 'Some- discussion took place regarding tho sale of a property, just before the bankruptcy, by a mortgagee, for what was alleged to be a price under the value. The matter was left in the hands of the D.O.A. and Mr H. Cooper, solicitor. Other things concerning the handling of tho estate's assets were also lelb to the D.O.A. to do what he thought advisable
