THE TLtfARU SERIES. [per tress association.] Timaru, December 15. The second wool sale of the seasoi to-day was attended by a .recort number of buyers for Timaru. 7601 bales offered compared with 10,000 a the second sales last year. The woo was of better quality than the firs sale and there was keen competition nearly fcvery lot being sold at price satisfactory to vendors. The bul. was crossbred suitable for Yorkshir mi??s. Most of the best half-bre were bought by colonial mills at 103 to lljjd, the latter being top price <i the sale. Medium half-bred made 91 to inferior BJd to 9Jd.
