BOXING DAY SPORTS.

For tho firemen's cvonts at the Boxing Day Sports of the Feilding Athletic Club, tho members of the local Brigade are hard at practice. It is expected to have two teams each for tho three-men and the five-men events, and a good number for tho baby rescue and other events. Inquiries are being made by the "Waiiganui Fire Brigade, and it is expected a couple of teams from that place will compete. This is encouraging for the Athletic Club, as the firemen's events are amongst the very best on tho programme.
