MENZIE'S FORD COMMISSION.
Mr E. Goodbehere (Mayor) reported to tho Council meeting last night that ho had. as the Council's representative, attended the -Menzie's Ford. Bridge Commission. The Commissioner was strongly of the opinion that the Feiiding Borough should be included in the Commission, but) the Mayor pointed out to him that the Council had agreed to give a certain sum on condition they were not drawn into a Commission. The Pohangina County Council wished to draw the Borough into it he Commission, but tho Commissioner finally ) greed that tho Feiiding Council should bo withdrawn.
