The following paragraph in the report of the Finance Coraim-ec was adopted at the Uorougli Council meeting last night: The Borough Foreman has reported that £20 4s has been expended on the formation of a footpath in West street, and to complete the path and to form about nine chains would cost £50. The committco recommend that the matter be considered when next year's estimates are being dealt with. When the report came before the Council the Mayor said £16 would be sufficient to finish the work started. -*■ Saywell proposed that this sum be expended.
