A mosque at istib, in European Turkey, was yesterday destroyed by dynamite, twelve Turks being killed in the explosion. The disaster was followed by an outbreak against the Bulgarian residents, who were suspected of having perpetrated the outrage, and in the rioting that occurred fourteen persons were killed and 150 others wounded. The Diet's grants for educational and general purposes have been reduced, the voto for schools having been cut down from £5000 .to just haJf that amount. Even the expenses for the Diet itself have been curtailed; but pensions for Russian officials have all been increased.
