ABOUT TO-DAY'S TEST MATCH.

The final selection will bo made at tho last minute. Douglas (the M.C.C. captain) is aboard tho Brisbane steamer, and at best he can arrive only a few hours before the start, whilst there is a bare possibility that he will not arrive in time. (Received December 15, 9.25 a.m.) December io. The weather is> fine and cool for the cricket match to-day.
