DEATH OF MRS BECKMAN.

We regret to learn of the death of Mrs Beckmau, of Rongotea (nee Miss Scheidt, of Bumiythorpe) who passed away at Palmerston yesterday. Mrs Bookman, who was only about 24 years of age. has only been married about twelve months, and has been in ill-health for most of the time. She was one of tlie most popular assistantteachers at tho Bunnythorpe school, and owing to her death, the school picnic, and prize-giving has been postponed.
