(Received December 14, T0.50 a.m.) London, December 13. The position of the Delhi is serious

The British warships Weymenth, London, and Duke, of Edinburgh, with a life-boat and life-saving apparatus, were dispatched from Gibraltor. A French cruiser's boats rescued the Delhi's women and children.

Reiner's Tangier correspondent states that, a life-boat from tne cruiser Duke of Edinburgh landed the Duke and Duchess of Fife and their party, which included their daughter, from the stranded steamer Delhi. They were drenched to the skin, owing to the long ride to Spartel signal station. The British Minister met and accompanied them to Tangier, and a British Warship is conveying them to Gibraltar.

Those injured on the Orion aro progressing favourably.

It has been found necessary to remove the Mauretania's bottom plates amidships. Repairs will take eightweeks to complete.
