London, December, 13. The cotton operatives' executive has authorised the work people of Nelson Mill to tender notice of a strike to-day, owing to the employment of non-Unionists. The executive avows the intention' of taking a similar action in the case of other mills.

Tlie Masters' Federation, employing 160,000 hands, has accordingly given notice that after December 20 all operatives will be liable to dismissal without notice. It is understood that only one employee in the Nelson mills now refuses to join the mills.

. Sydney, December 13.' The Special Board's enquiry into the wharf labourers' trouble has concluded, and its decision reserved.
