KIMBOLTON.

THE FARMERS' UNION

The annual meeting of the Kimbolton branch of the Farmers' Union was held in the Druids' Hall on Saturday. The Chairman gave a resume of the progress of the branch for the past year, and spoke in great praise of the work so very ably carried out by the secretary (Mr J. C. Murray). The balance-sheet for the past year skoAVed a substantialcredit balance, and it Avas adopted on the proposal of the Chairman. The election of officers for the coming year resulted: Mr W. Morton was re-elected Chairman; Mr J. C. Murray, secretary and treasurer; Mr R. C Weeks, auditor; committee, Messrs Hodge, Parsons, FoAvler, Krull, Shapleski, Pettigrew, and Low. The Chairman Avas elected to represent the branch at the conference to be held at Woodville on May 30.
