APITI STOCK SALES. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. report: At Apiti on Tuesday we ill ad a heavy yarding of sheep of .all classes, over four thousand being penned. We also yarded 200 head of cattle of good quality. There w>as a large attendance of farmers and a ">ood sprinkling of outside buyers. Bidding at auction was spirited, the result being an 'almost total clearance under the hammer. Any pass-ed-in pens wore immediately disposed of.
