A Fast Wicket
The cricket match Wanganui v. Australia, commenced on Cook's Gardens yesterday afternoon, in ideal weather. The wicket was very fast, and the outfield was in fair order. Armstrong is not playing. WTIH THIS BAT. Butterworth won the toss, and Wanganui. batted first, scoring 125 in an hour and a half's play. Australia followed on, and at call of time had lost six wickets for 90.
