[per press association.] London, March 3. There was .a largo attendance at tlie Antwerp wool sales. Moderate animation was due to reluctance to pay sellers' limits, merino realising January's prices and crossbred slightly easier.

To-day 3327 bales of La Plata were offered, and 736 were sold.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., -hay» received the following cablegram from their London house, under date 2nd inst. : "Wool—The market for merinos has an upward tendency. Crossbreds very firm."
