Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report:— We yarded upwards of 2500 sheep of all classes. Bidding was slack. We quote— 2th wethers 10s 6d to 11s 7d, 2th ewes 12a 9d, aged ewes Bs, cull owes 3s 9d, cull lambs 2s 4d, llomney rams 14s 6d, Southdown rams 11s 4d, 2iyr steers £3 3s Gd, 18mos steers 38s 6d, fat cows £4 10s. WANGANUI. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report:— 6000 sheep and 200 head of cattle were yarded. Except for good classes of young sheep, demand was very much easier, old ewes especially being hard to quit. Wo made a good clearance. Quotations: Good 2th Romney ewes 14s 6d, small 2th ewes 10s Id, f.f.m. ewes 7s 4d to 9s sd, old ewes 3s Id to 3s 4d, fiat ewes 10s 6d to 11s 6d, medium 2th and 4th wethers 12s 4d. small wethers 7s 3d to Us 6d ; cull lambs 2s 3d to 4s 4d, 2th Lmcoln rams 2gs, 4th Ronmey rams IJgs, mixed yea.faings 375, good mixed weaners 255, small mixed weaners 13s.
