At the Burnsido stock salos to-day 1762 sheep wero penned, a fair proportion of which were good quality wethers, while tlieh quality of ewes •Was slightly bettor than that of last week. In consequeaico pprices weiro a shade firmer. Best wethers 20s to 22s 6d, extra to 245, medium 18s 6:1 (to 20s, inferior 16s 3d to 18s 3d, best ewes 16s to 18s 6d, extra to 21s 3d, inferior from 9s 3d to 15s 6d. Lambs— l63o peiuied, a fail- yaiding. Prices all round wero firmer tbaai last week. Best lambs 15.s to 17s, extra to 17s 6d, medium 13s 6d to 14s 9d, light 12s to 13s. Pigs— 7o yarded, a small yarding. Baconers and porkers wero in small supply. Prices for these sorts were fully $d per lb An advance of last week. Small pigs were a shade easier. Suckers 13s to 14s 6d, slips 15s to 18s, stores 23s to 28s, porkers 38a to 40s, light baconers 45s to 555, heavy baconers 61a to 655. Cattle— l 37 yarded.
