A. H. Atkinson and Co., Ltd., report : — On Friday we held our usual weekly sale. Owing to the rough weather, no pigs came to hand, but we had several enquiries for stores. A fair entry of poultry sold at late rates; a good supply of produce was well competed for. Quotations : — Poultry.— Roosters, le Id, Is 6d ; hens, Is 6d; ducks, Is, Is 6d; email, 9d. Produce. — Potatoes, pig ss, eating 10s, 13s to 15s per sack. Pears, lfd to 2d per 1b ; apples, good cooking 2d, eating 3d per lb ; onions, l£d per lb.
