There were present— Messrs Richards (Horowhenua), who was appointed chairman, Jackson (Pohangina), Carman (Kiwitea), Boss (Kairanga), Gardner (Levin), .'Luxford (Palmerston), and Cobbe (Feilding). Mr M. Cohen, of Palmerston N., was tho only candidate propose<l. Ho was nominated by Messrs Cobbo and Carman, and declared elected. Mr Colkmi thanked tho delegates for his election, and promised to look after tho interests of tho district. Ho said ho would report f he proceding-s of Harbour Board reguHaifly, and wouild (confw (with the i representative men of tlio district on all Harbour Board matters.
