NEW ZEALAND TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA. fPXB riua* AWOOUTION.I Wellington, August 23. The following team baa been chosen to represent N.Z. at the forthcoming Australian rifle meeting: — A Ballinger (Wellington). W. H. Ballinger (Wellington). Duncan (Denniston). Milk (Dunedin). Cameron (Masterton). . Moslem (Auckland]!. Purnell (Wanganui). Milroy (Nelson). Craw (Chorlton). Wilkie (Upper Hutt). Maeefield (Blenheim). Ayson (Wyndham). Others were asked to join but declined owing to business engagements. Colonel Collins has arranged for the issue of new rifles to each member of the team. Passages have been booked by the Wimmera, which sails for Sydney direct on Friday, 4th October. This will give the team a week's practice before the meeting. The selection of the team was limited to competitors who attended last Trentham meeting. The officer in charge has not y«t been selected.
