Dividends, £2 and £3 Bs. Connolly Handicap, 1 mile and a distance — Marguerite 1, Waitapu 2, Delania 3. Won by two lengths, a neck separating second and third. Time, lmin 44 3-osec. Dividends, £11 17s and £7 13s. Narcissus, when he fell in the Wanganui Steeplechase, broke his neck. The sum of £11,913 was invested in the totalisator, an increase of £1121 on the corresponding day last year.
