CLEARING SALE.

A. H. Atkinson and Co. report having held a successful clearing sale at Mr E. Q. Jones' farm, Makino road, on Monday last. There was a large attendance of buyers. Cows and pigs sold well, and furniture, etc., brought exceptionally good values. Quotations: — Aged harness horses £9 10s to £15 16V, cow« from £2 to £5 16s. ,Pigs: Suckers 3s, slips 6s 3d, stores 16s 3d, light porkers 18s 6d. sows £2 lls to £3 10s, P.B. Yorkshire boar £1 7s Cattle dog 10s; fjheep dog £4 3s. Fowls Is 9d each.
