TECHNICAL CLASSES.
♦ On account of the numbers now at- i tending tbe classes, it has been neces- ] sary to give up the rooms rented 1 from Mr Svendsen and to get larger premises. A building 66ft by 25ft opposite the Bank of New Zealand ' has been rented from Mrs Sherwill, ; and this is being fitted up to accom- j modate the cooking, woodwork, carpentry and joinery, building con- ; struction, staircasing and handrail- j ing, woodcarving, dressmaking, millinery, and plumbing classes. It is expected that the building will be ready by next week. Dressmaking; English and accountancy classes will meet this evening at 7. Millinery classes will be held at Svendsen' s to-morrow, from 2 to 4, and from 7to 9. This class is under . Miss Taylor, of Palmerston North. ! The Shorthand class will not meet ; until to-morrow evening. '
