[By Telegraph.] (Our Own Correspondent.) Wellington, May 20. In a game of billiards at the Wellington Club to-night, Mr J. H. Owen receiving 600 in 1000, defeated Stevenson, the Champion of the World, somewhat easily. The biggest break was one of 86. by Mr Owen. In a second game or 500 up, Amateur 250, Mr Owen was., again j victorious. He played a very pretty j game, and ran out while Stevenson was at 459. The biggest break was one of 131. by Stevenson.
