COLLISION AT SEA.

The steamer Larchmont bound from Providence to New York, collided with the collier, Harry Know- , leton, off Ounonochontang at midnight on Monday. The Larchmont , sank in ten minutes. She carried 120 to 200 passengers. The crew of thirty, Captain Medey and nineteen survivors reached Black Island, after suffering fearfully from the intense cold. It is feared the rest have perished. (Received February 14th, 9.13 a.m.) London, Wednesday. Amid a scene of terror the Larchmont sank. Ten female Salvationists were kneeling on the deck, and sang "Onward Christian Soldiers." Nineteen survivors were severely frost bitten, the spray coating them with ice. Thirty bodies, incased m ice, were recovered on the beach, and fourteen others were frozen to death in the drifting boats.
