BOWLING TOURNAMENT.
W Telegraph Press Association Copyright I Duhidin, Jan 24. The Bowling Tournament was resumed to-day, the weather conditions being decidedly unfavourable in the morning. Fortunately they were better in the' afternoon, and good progress was made with the semi final in the rink championship, leaving Newtown (Prince) andKai- ' tangata (Hislop) to play off on Fri day. Green Island (McDonald) and Southland (B. Taylor) will play off for third prize. Six rounds and a portion of the seventh round have been played in the Doubles, and the semi final will betaken on Friday morning. Tomorrow will be devoted to Singles, for which 144 entries have been received. The aggregate prize for the rink scoring the highest number of points in the Rink Championship, Lytnnfc being a prize winner, was 'TOa by Taieri (M'lotyre.)
