telegraph Press Association Copyright Chrisxouurcu, Nov 29. The Premier addressed a crowded meeting in the Canterbury Hall tonight, some 2000 or 8000 people being unable to gain admission. The meeting was very disorderly at first, and the speaker was subjected to continued interruptions, but became more quiet as his address proceeded, and at the olose a motion was carried by acclamation congratulating the Premier on his speech, and expressing appreciation of the many beneficial measures that had heen placed on the Statute Book by the Liberal Administration.
