FEILDING WOOL, SKIN AND HIDE SALE.
A. H. Atkinson held his monthly sale of wool, skins, and hides in Feilding yesterday, when some 500 skins, two bales and numerous bag lots were offered. Quotations : Wool— Crutchings made up to 6fd, dead wool 6£d to 7d. Skins — Crossbred and fine 7|d to bd, dead, green 4s each, dead hogget and crossbred 6f d to 7d, green skins 5s 9d to 6s Bd. Hides— Ox 22s 6d to 25s 6d, oow 16s to 18 6d, calves Is Gd to 2s sd, yearlings up to 6s 6d. Horse-hair Is Sd per lb. Tallow 18s owt. The next sale will be held on sth October.
