POLITICAL ATTACKS ON AUSTRALIA.
Telegraph Press Association Copyright London, August 80. The Statist in an article says that friends who recently visited Australia declare that the political morality there is steadily degenerating. Commercial morality is far lesd satisfactory than it used to be. Mr Cogblau, in a 6trong letter, refutes the assertions seriatim, specially denying the reported withdrawal of capital. Mr Coghlan has also written a letter to the Daily Chronicle, correcting the Australian correspondent's alleged misstatements. Sir Horace Tozer is securing an extra city office and is arrannging for a permanet exhibition of Queensland products.
