A USEFUL BILL.
The Fertilisers Bill provides for the registration of all vendors of fertilisers and their brands, and makes compulsory on every packet of 2cwfc a full description of the fertiliser, showing the minimum percentage of the following ingredients, when present, and the unit value attached to each of them : Nitrogen soluble in water, nitrogen insoluble in water phosphoric anhydride soluble in water, its equivalent in tricalcic phosphate made soluble by acid, phosphoric anhydride insoluble in water and its equivalent in insoluble tricalcic phosphate, dipotaosic oxide (potash) soluble in water, and its equivalent in sulphate of potash. The Bill provides for an analysis of all fertilisers, and gives the inspectors of the Agricultural Department the right of entry and examination and all buyers the right to have their purchases analysed.
